FOREIGN FRIENDS 2025 'ADA' ROSÉ
Our delicious Nebbiolo Rosé, Ada, is back! This wine offers an elegant texture and mouthfeel, with aromas of strawberry, orange peel, and white blossom. On the palate, its crisp acidity brings a truly refreshing finish.
Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, this Rosé began her journey amongst the honey hued trees of the high country. From there, she pressed off skins, before fermenting and ageing on fine lees in neutral French oak over the winter, arriving here to make your acquaintance today.
Bottled, labelled and waxed by hand. Pre-order for delivery week commencing 15th September.

WINEMAKING PROCESS
Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown by the Corsini family in the heart of the King Valley. The vineyard sits at 250m altitude on red-loam soil and the vines were planted in 1999 and grafted over to Nebbiolo in 2021. The grapes were bag pressed and then transferred into stainless steel tanks to settle overnight before being racked into puncheons (500L oak barrels) for fermentation and maturation. The wine was aged on its fine lees for a couple of months before bottling.

THE LABEL STORY
Like each of our labels, the Rosé design is inspired by a visionary historical woman. English mathematician, Ada Lovelace, is the woman behind the this particular label. An associate of Charles Babbage, Ada was world's first computer programmer. We picked 'Ada' based on personality traits she shared with Leila and Crystal’s grandmother Dorothy, a remarkable woman who defied the conventions of her time to become a visionary leader in the field of education during the 1960’s in QLD.
