Meet 'Virginia' - she's very demure, she's very mindful. A light white boasting subtle blossom, orchard fruits, and honey hues Virginia finishes with plenty of texture.

These Pinot Blanc grapes began their journey amongst the honey hued trees of the high country. From there, they were fermented and aged in a mix of old oak barrels, stainless steel tank and concrete eggs, arriving here to make your acquaintance today.

  • WINEMAKING PROCESS

Sourced from the heart of the King Valley, these Pinot Blanc grapes grown by the Michelini family. Grown at 328m elevation, the grapes were picked in late February 2024. This wine was fermented and aged in a mix of stainless-steel tanks, concrete eggs and old oak barrels to build texture and mouthfeel. Bottled at the end of August, this Pinot Blanc has a pretty nose with notes of blossom and nectarine, lovely acidity & lots of texture.

  • THE LABEL STORY

Like each of our labels, the Pinot Blanc design is inspired by a visionary historical woman. Esteemed writer, Virginia Wolf, is the inspiration behind this particular label. Best known for her novels, like day and night, Virginia was one of the most influential 20th-century modernist authors, known for pioneering the use of stream of consciousness narration as a literary device. We picked 'Virginia' as our feature based on Crystal, one of the three Foreign Friends whom herself is a writer.

  • REVIEWS

"From King Valley. I am really excited about this project. I love this slip and slide, the gloss of texture, an inherent lime-tonic water thing going on with Real Lemonade, faint ginger notes, distinct lime and hazy apple juice. In this, a faint natural yoghurt character lending piquancy and lactic tang, pretty in that way. Overall, a medium weight and super attractive white wine with depth and charisma on hand."
